Shel Philips, PMP

Director, CMMC Practice

Shel leads the Sourcepass SHIELD CMMC practice with decades of experience guiding organizations through complex technology and compliance initiatives. With a deep focus on CMMC Level 2 consulting, Shel brings both strategic oversight and hands-on execution to help government contractors achieve and sustain compliance.

A CCP and CCA-trained professional and Project Management Professional (PMP), Shel has spent more than 45 years in IT management and consulting, helping organizations navigate large-scale transformation with discipline and clarity. His career includes notable work supporting major enterprise initiatives, including helping Delta Airlines establish Cincinnati as a regional hub.

Beyond compliance and cybersecurity, Shel is also an accomplished author, having written nine books on spreadsheets, reflecting his passion for practical problem-solving and operational efficiency. Outside of work, he enjoys large displacement motorcycles and spending time with his 21 grandchildren.

Daniel Dolinov

Senior Security Analyst

Daniel is a senior cybersecurity and compliance professional specializing in CMMC Level 2 readiness and implementation. With more than 13 years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance consulting, he plays a critical role in translating regulatory requirements into secure, real-world environments.

Daniel is CCP and CCA trained and has successfully led organizations through complex audits, including a SOC 2 Type II engagement from start to finish. His strength lies in aligning technical controls, documentation, and operational processes to meet stringent compliance frameworks without disrupting day-to-day business.

Known for his analytical mindset and collaborative approach, Daniel brings precision and calm to high-stakes compliance efforts. Outside of work, he has a passion for theater, literature, and food, and is fluent in three languages, allowing him to connect easily with diverse teams and clients.
